so I got around to watching the pilot for the new Tick series.
So far it looks good. I like the idea of having it on a darker backdrop than usual. I like the contrast of a dark world against the naive lighthearted tick. I always wanted to direct a Tick meets Sin City type of show, because I think it would be hysterical
My only fear is they go full Wilfred with it. I like the idea of having that be a red hearing for the pilot, but I don't know if I like the idea of the Tick being in Arthur's head. The pilot seemed to be open to go either way with it

agreed, I heard Patrick Wurburton was interested but their were complications that prevented it. The guy playing the current Tick is good though, so don't be that disappointed
