King may be a hack sometimes but IT is fucking stellar. It gets recognition for being "lol scary clown thats eats people" but its really a great book in terms of capturing what it was like to be a kid growing up in a small town (that just so happened to have a monster in it). Same thing with Stand by me. I re read them and often get nostalgic of my childhood growing up in a small town

Yeah I reread It every year. I first read the book when I was young, so its a dual thing. The perfect portrayal of childhood in the book and reliving my own that way.

It would've been nice to keep the 50s setting. I wonder how it'll go though. I mean the trailer looks pretty good to me so far. Only complaint I have is that Bill isn't stuttering his head off, but it could be they toned it down for the trailers

Patrick is 15 in this movie. There's a missing poster of him in the trailer. He definitely does. Dunno if they'll show his death.
