The movie wasn't ambiguous. It didn't give enough information to understand the movie. It literally doesn't make sense unless you do further research.

So you're saying the director's cut is better?
>>82559874
Objectively. Yes.
i hated the fucking directors cut because they changed the fucking music
seriously; fucking inxs instead of the BUNNY men KILLING moon. how perfect was it the first time. fuck that shit. shit was iconic.
sure they fucked up the abiguity a bit by adding all those cut text bits too, but the music was the bit that stood out.

I hate the changes to the music in the DC.
If anyone cares bert kreischer (the machine) did a podcast with the guy that says "go back to china bitch" (stu something) and they talk about smoking weed with patrick swayzie and seth (dude weed) rogan.
And you know what they say:
>no swayzie no wayzie
((()))(()))(()))(()))((())(()))
It helps you understand the plot better, but the theatrical is still a better film.
I just found out I've never watched the original apparently.
Is it too late for me /b/ros?
My only gripe with this film is it is the last time we get to see Maggie Gyllenhaal when she was actually cute.
theatrical is perfect the way it is, having the text turns it into some sci-fi mindfuck that has less to do with the character

No just watch try to forget about the director cut
the edit is shit, it ruins the pacing and the tone
original movie 10/10
directors cut 1/10
