Prophecies aren't meant to be taken literally from what we've read in ASOIAF. Even Tyrion pointed out that it's a fallacy to try and adhere to them because it's like a half-trained mule and will kick you in the head.

This is a reminder that the Azor Ahai myth comes from Asshai, Nefer, and other sinister Far East locations, as far from Westeros as you can possibly get.
