They don't have anything that's sci-fi and/or fantasy, and those are the things that are in right now. They should focus on making a new adaptation of an old tv series like BSG, or novel series.

I for one recommend that they look into Honor Harrington. Female main character. lots of books, very expansive story that could last a lot of seasons. I think it would do really well on television, especially with an HBO budget.

HBO needs to offer free shipping. That's why I have Amazon.

hmmm pay $15 for a couple of decent shows a year and a bunch of mediocre/old movies

or

pay $10-12 for dozens of great shows each year and more network tv show/movies than you can possibly watch

HBO has been putting out the best tv series for decades, I wouldnt worry too much

they have a lot of other shows senpai. they've consistently made some of the best shows and miniseries over the past 20 years. they'll come up with another hit, just like they always do.

besides, i imagine they get a fair amount of $$ from amazon for the rights to stream their old shows. they aren't going anywhere.
