I don't care. He's said everything he's got to say on film; Twin Peaks will be his magnum opus and wrap up a 30 year old mystery, after which he can gracefully die.

its good because inland empire screamed of creative burnout.

it was a bad overlong remake of mullholland drive with elements from lost highway.

iam a big lynch fan for you btw. read biography like his paintings etc. the more you get him as an artist the more you get that he used his fuel.

twin peaks is the final solution for what good is left in lynch. a frame where he can play with his familiar world but not too weird.
