It's because they're idiots and refuse to even put their videos out on another platform.

This isn't like Digg's death, where there was alternatives that the audience could just jump to. The closest thing to that is VidME, but it's still a fledgling baby service which isn't close to the raw power of YouTube.

Right now the free hand of the market has decided what videos will get ads, just because those videos suck doesn't mean it's YouTube or the advertisers fault. If you aren't making money in business learn to adapt or die.
