What kind of fucking dumbass majors in history?

I wish they'd stop making "grimdark" versions of King Arthur. Part of what appealed to me about the mythology as a kid was imagining knights' adventures set in a lush, green Olde England with an air of chivalry and romance. But now we keep getting grungy, muted color aesthetics with awful "modern" soundtracks and characters who could've been lifted from any generic grimdark historical war flick. Been there, done that.

I think today's historical action films are an over-correction from what was put out in the 1980s--cheesy, overly-sentimental crap with vaseline filters and melodramatic scores, acting, etc. It would be nice if they could find a middle ground. It doesn't have to chirpy elves and fairies, but it doesn't have to look like everyone just got done rolling around in the mud while scowling all the time.

Museum was definitely an option and still is, but it's more admin and customer service skills rather than history. That being said I do have the latter (worked in McD's lmao) so I could still go for it. The museum job market is literally as hard as the lecturer market though.

I just feel it is coming out with 0 marketing and with 2 other hype movies coming out before and the week after.
