Everyone dies and comes back. Everyone kills demons easily. Angels get fucked easily too.

It could have stayed ok if there was any real tension. Even Lucifer isn't the big bad he was hyped to be all the time. Remember when any demon was a struggle to deal with? Now they regularly get in fist fights with the most ancient and powerful demons in addition to angels and whatever else and win with ease.

It can be funny at least but even that is tiring.

it's not consistent though. One episode they're slaying demons like they're stepping on bugs, and the next episode they're getting their asses kicked by a single rookie werewolf, and get their asses saved by the strong-independant-female of the week.

I watched the first few seasons back when they aired, can't remember how many exactly. I liked it when they were just going around hunting different monsters each week. When it started to branch out into a larger story I lost interest. I've seen a few episodes since then and they were terrible.

All the good writers have left but the fan base hasn't. CW makes a huge amount of dosh out of Supernatural since it's an original IP that they own. The show can get away with half the ratings of the rest of CW's capeshit since they have licensing and merchandise rights that still give them money. They don't get that with DC shows.

I'd say it needed to end after season 7. With heavy editing of season 6 and season 7 respectively.

Dealing with the loose end in the form of Raphael and Leviathan-infused Cas would be great sendoff for a show.

But they needed that grab on a tumblrinas.
