Why couldn't they have just let him make his Halo movie? His career after District 9 has been so disappointing. Elysium was gorgeous but the story/writing was horrible and I haven't even bothered to watch Chappie

hopefully he tries to revive it. His original movies after D9 have been mediocre. He needs to work on an established sci fi universe like Halo, Alien, or even Star Wars (not sci-fi I know). I think he'd make a great Boba Fett movie, with Sharlto as the lead. Fuck yeah.
