John Hughes is the single most culturally destructive filmmaker of in history. His movies are, simply put, toxic. They injected into an entire generation's collective mind new ideas of classism, entitlement, narcissism, and material objectification.

I legitimately feel sorry for any person that grew up watching either Breakfast Club or Ferris Bueller

teacher in some class in high school made us watch this. i liked it, good movie for young grownups to watch, not filled with bullshit, id rather my child watched this than say 13 reasons why or some modern shit aimed at young ppl

I was 14 and randomly one day at like 5pm my mom said I should watch it, thought it would be absolute ass because it seemed like a boring premise but I was hooked 10-20 minutes in.
