The reason why it flopped was because it looked like fan made movie, Johansson played as if she did it to collect pocket money, the hairstyles were completely ridiculous, movie was full of flyovers over lifeless looking city, her team was completely useles, and the scenes with her mother...was that woman high or braindamaged.
Only thing slightly redeemable was Batou, and even though his visualization felt flat, the actor at least looked like he tried.
