Alien is better than Aliens because it is the best melding of science fiction and horror ever. The set design was gorgeous, creature design, aesthetics were all at 100%.

Terminator is a schlocky b-movie. There isn't much good about it, it's mediocre. But people bust a nut over the technoir scene like it somehow redeems it

As a fan of the series since before T2 ever came out, I think they overused Arnold's character in the series. He was just another terminator in the originals. This arnold obsession is a part of what fucked up the series. I was glad that they moved away from this in t4 but it was too late at that point and that movie was kind of boring.
