I feel the same way. The characters aren't as interesting, and the scenarios aren't very exciting. In the first two we had people getting in way over their heads in unusual situations, in this season it doesn't have the same sense of gravity.

Also, the overall dialogue and use of themes feels weaker than in previous seasons. We have a little philosophy and spiritualism, but they don't mesh well with the overall plot.
