Redditors love this flick.
>that scene of irene knocking at his door
>mfw she didn't gave up on him after all
>mfw but it was already too late, he was long gone to never come back
the more I watch this film the more I get attached, and the more it hurts
He's supposed to be Jesus so he'll die while driving but wake up 3 days later in a gas station at Las Vegas

The director confirmed that the driver didn't die

I know that feel, it's even sadder because he will never become a professional race driver or ever have a legitimate job because of what Bernie said about him having to look over his shoulder for the rest of his life. No doubt his cronies will always be looking for the driver so he'll go back to being a getaway driver for criminals
>Why is the ending of this movie so good?
It's not.

he has autism. Driver was bleeding for at least an hour (sunset until nightfall) he probably passed out and ate a tree or a 18 wheeler
