How come the garbage young adult books like Harry Potter, Alex Rider, Percy Jackson, Hunger Games, etc got movies but not THESE?
It got a terrible anime instead

Who knows OP I'd kill for these to be made into a TV series or even a movie based off the guide book that follows an adventurer who travels through all the territories
>>82142837
As opposed to a good anime?
>>82142875
Yes.
Good anime: Cowboy Bebop, Outlaw Star, G Gundam
Bad anime: moe uguu pedobait with digital animation i.e. every modern anime

fuck off pleb
>>82142680
I don't remember the anime being terrible. It seems impossible to find now though, so that may be just my nostalgia talking.
>>82142680
Because no one knows what that even is
>>82142680
They'd be pretty damn hard to get right, especially with the children of the monster on the cover of the third book (I haven't read them in fifteen years).
If they managed to get the tone right, though, it could be a cool 8-film series similar to Harry Potter.
>>82142875
Yeah, ever seen Berserk?
>>82142680
>tfw I remember reading these
>tfw I vaguely remember something about a belt and jewels or stones or some shit
>I remember literally nothing else
I stopped reading when I learned I had a misprinted copy that was missing a page.

The monsters were the witch's children, and from what I remember they stick around through most of the books
because it's legit fantasy and not some meme shit that appeals to girls

Yeah I know, I'm just saying that the CGI/dialogue/general characterisation of those characters would be hard to get right.
>This guy slaps your girlfriends ass.
>What do you do?
Did anyone have the monster art book? That thing was dope.
>papyrus
>>82144968
Yeah I got it
>reading about the blood lillies
That was some fucked up shit
