>>82128838

>>82128243
>Weebs tell me to hate MXC becuz muh Takeshi's Castle
>mfw I like both
>>82128838

>>82128838
>>82129002
In the french version he's definately /ourguy/
Don't get eliminated, based thred. Beware the fluid!
>>82129911
There are too many Colbert threads, even your terrorists dubs can't save us.
>tfw picked this show up used on DVD for cheap about ten years ago
>>82129980
Is it still on tv? Or does it live now only online? Late night stoner tv didn't get better than this...
>>82129911
And what is todays fluid?
>How many of you think footposting is an integral part of /tv/'s board culture?
>>82130143
>was on the "Country's own version of MTV" channel everyday at 4
>every day after college for about 3 years i would get home, make noodles and sit infront of the tv
Good times
Halloween special monster episode is the GOAT episode.
>He crawls into children's ears and turns them into gay teens.
>>82130207
Why, today, Kenny, our special fluid is Fukushima prefecture's world-renowned industrial-strength lubricated fish-juice.
>>82130526
Extra chunky!
>>82130278
SHOW OF HANDS.
NOW.
YOU?
YOU?
WELL YOU'RE ALL WRONG.
>>82130560
That's right, Kenny.
All the film threads were deleted yet this was left up?
and /v/ has the gall to say /pol/ is the fucking problem
>you'll never be 16, come home from school and watch this with your dad again
>>82128243
LEEEEEEETS GIT'I ON
>>82130466
>the guy who almost drowns in his totem pole costume
>>82129002
>watch Takeshi's Castle for the first time
>the American comedy dub is actually more coherent and grounded in realism
>>82130627
>he doesn't know....
Capt Tenneal was the best character.
>>82130627
What film threads? I haven't seen shit about them today. Also were they pruned/deleted or archived (because they were bumped off by the 10000 Colbert spam or the NK current bs news threads?
This is an actual television show, though, so it does belong on /tv/, and I don't know why you're so butthurt about it. Go bitch in one of the 100+ post bullshit bait threads.
Who was that bearded white guy who played one of the goons that assaulted the contestants? Was he just some weeb that scored his dream job?
I loved early Spike TV.
Such good times.
Actually aside from MXC what else did early Spike TV have?
>>82130914
I literally can't remember anything else Spike aired. Deadliest Warrior?
is mxc making a comeback? someone needs to get a stream going. MXC is best anime.
>>82130964
I think i caught the tail end of some of those, just before mxc.
Love to see a pirate fight a ninja while suspended above the suspicious brown fluid......
>>82130278
>>82130579
>>82130964
>>82130914
They aired The Man Show right?
>>82131082
the man show was on comedy central
>>82131166
Ah that makes sense. I think I got it confused because whatever cable we had around those years had the two next to eachother on the channel listings.
>>82130914
there was some truck show that aired I'm pretty sure right after (or maybe before) MXC which was pretty good.
How many of you are watching mxc right now? Show of hands.
>>82128243
>they removed MXC from Hulu
literally the only reason I bothered to share that account.
>>82131444
There are dozens of full episodes up on youtube last I checked.

Huh. Whos that guy?
Whoever he is Kenny, he really likes gum.
>falls in water
YEAH!
He thinks he won Vic!
Dont drink the water!
>>82131379
How!?? Where!?
For my homies!
>Don't Smoke!
>Kid next to him immediately coughs
>Iraqi grocery store owner comes up
>"My prices are Hussein!"
This show had the stupidest fucking dialogue and I loved every second of it
>>82132352
The simple glory of youtube, my excellent anon.
Is anyone else completely overwhelmed to the point of amazement at just how much sheer clever comedy is packed into this show? Every single voice over line, every single contestant name, every single Guy Le Douche moment, it just has a mind numbing level of jokes pushed into it. I can't even fully absorb a contestants hilarious name before the contestant says something equally hilarious, then I get blasted with hilarious one liners from ken and vic 2 seconds later, and this happens every game with every episode for the entire show, nonstop. It really is a work of art with no dull moments.
>>82132470
>>82132492
What the contestants shout before charging into the obstacle is always the funniest shit.
>>82132798
>next up american false idol winner GAY AIKEN
Beauty thread, bros! MXC brings everyone together in joy and mirth and...mysterious fluids...
GIT IT ON
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c04knmSH61Y
>>82132798
>every single Guy Le Douche moment
That was always the weakest part of the show for me.
>>82131444
>tfw the DVD's cost $50
>>82132960
>502
OH SHIT
i thought i had all of them because i had a folder with about 72 or 82 episodes but that only goes to 308
AND HERE I WAS THINKING IVE SEEN IT ALL
>>82132960
>Ooh! I hear the snickering of queers.
>>82133024
Say it ain't so! Is it complete?

>>82131363
did they have the original ninja warrior?
>>82130721
Seriously, this.
Before the MXC dub camr out in America, I had already seen episodes of Takeshi' s Castle in my Japanese language class.
Shit was WHACK yo!
I remember when I saw that the show was coming to the US I had a visceral negative gut reaction.
But then I saw the dub and thought it was really funny.
>>82132798
wait are you joking or do you actually find this funny?
GUY
LE
DOUCHE
So how many TV shows do comesy dubs of Jap stuff? MXC is hilarious to me, and I liked Shin-chan and Milk-chan too. Are there any others?
>find out there's an american version called MXC
>watch it
>it's literally the least funny thing i've ever seen
>go to /tv/
>/tv/ unanymously finds it funny
Is it nostalgia from watching it as a kid or something?
>>82133290
>UK
tried watching that one time Just to see how it differs from the original and MXC and I honestly couldnt get past the first episode.
The narrator (btw is he the dude from Red Dwarf?) just couldn't make any good jokes to make me chuckle, its as if he was just sitting there recording his lines as he was watching it with us and had try and joke on literally everything
>>82133488
Its probably because you watched takashi first and looked at MXC as like a dub of it.
most of us here knew of MXC before we saw the original and saw MXC as a show of its own
>Watch MXC
>Watch Takeshi's Castle
>mfw MXC is more coherent and makes more sense
>>82133488
>he's never experienced the true glory of mxc
Do you TRY to not have fun?
Favorite MXC moment? For some reason this little bit 5 second bit puts me to tears every single time:

>>82134231
>tfw seeing a gif you made a while back pop up every now and then on here
Truly the comfiest feeling
>>82130914
The only stuff I remember is Ren and Stimpy APC, Striperella, and endless reruns of TNG.
>>82134353
Do you have anymore Norm gifs?
I would like some
>>82133290
>british version
