Starts with a scene of a shuttle uncoupling from a spaceship and heading to the planet.
Then it's a long scene of the crew bringing an injured dude on the shuttle. 2 girls put him in a medbay and one sees hes clearly gonna go bad so she leaves and leaves her friend inside. Small alien bursts from the guy's back and attacks the girl who tries to fight him off with a knife but gets fucked. Another girl comes in with a rifle but slips on blood and falls. I seen it last night at the Alien Day thing. It actually looks good. The chestbursters scene was fucking brutal. More so than anything in the previous Alien film. The acting and characters come across as lot more natural in this too.

In Alien, the first thing it does after bursting out of Kane is have a quick gander and then it sods off, next time we see it, it is full size.

In Aliens, they take colonists for the eggs, again, they don't eat them to grow.

Alien 3, the alien bursts out of the ox/dog and swiftly leaves once again, to grow in to full size.

If there is one thing these films have showed its that they don't need food to grow.

I know they find Shaw's dogtags I think on the ship they left in at the end of Prometheus, and the planets of the new race and the one the Covenant crew land on have similarities but I really don't know at all.
