It's literally Alien and The Thing compressed into one movie, set underwater and has based Weller as the lead. I watch it pretty often.

Be honest.... is it actually worth a watch? I fucking love Alien and The Thing. Just not sure if elements from those movies make it as good though.

Maybe I'm thinking of a different The Thing ripoff, but I swear this ended with the two survivors being infected and making monster sounds while they smiled.

Sure it is, I mean it's goofy as hell but it looks good and doesn't drag. It's full of cliches but the execution is so solid that it doesn't bother me at all.
