Sadly this is true but I also think it's partly due to when Disney bought them back they cannibalized a lot of the most talented staff and integrated them into WDAS. Since Pixar was bought back by Disney the only decent film they've created that started development or production prior to the purchase is Inside Out. Meanwhile WDAS quality has improved tenfold and they're now the ones producing the best animated films.

It's due for release June next year. Incredibles is probably my favourite PIxar film so I'm excited but keeping my expectations low. Even if Brad Bird is involved he said for so long he wouldn't do it unless he had a good idea for a sequel. Might be true but I felt it was more that he was simply uninterested in doing one. Low and behold when he does get an idea and start writing a script it's after Tomorrowland bombs. Almost like he felt he owed Disney and had to give them something which would make money.
