There was a spartan in the bar. It was terribly handled in my opinion. It should have been a huge moment when all of the old characters show up.

This episode was great, I loved seeing the callbacks to older episodes and seeing Jack's effect on the world. It was great world-building.

Every scene was bad and artificially pandering, the wacky robot head shenanigans and

were just the most retarded of them.

Also they completely avoided having to write anything meaningful or interesting about jack's inner demons by just having them lie to him about dead kids. So then the problem is resolved by "btw jack the kids are alive so you don't have to bother with this inner struggle shit any more" and him cutting his personified inner demon in half. So now he's no longer depressed and he suddenly believes his sword is obtainable now. Glad we got that character development shit out of the way in like 5 minutes now we can move on.

There's only so much of that they could do before it would start to wear thin. Besides, why reboot samurai jack if your going to do it without any of the humor or goofiness? They'll probably bring the tone back to serious for the last few episodes.
