I don't understand why you think it's all based on lies aside from his attempts at artificial youth/upkeep, dating golddiggers, and running some sides at a loss or inefficiencies/relatively exploiting idealist workers
also I don't think the VCs are trying to grasp the next big thing to stay current and keep up with the youth or whatever, they're buying n% in everything because it's financially worthwhile for them to do that early, and sell high later, even with 9/10 of them failing or never making it to market. the reason boards are ex-founders and tech management is because they saw how the cycle can fiscally work out and because they have enough supposed credentials to be perceived as mentors and to have connections to more money and guidance. older founders weren't at all what I was talking about
