The problem with these studies is they'll take any evidence of similarities between trans-male brain chemistry and biological male brain chemistry as evidence that their school of thought is legitimate. I think it would be really cool if the method for diagnosing a person as "trans" was looking at their brain construction and seeing whether it resembled their identified gender or biological sex more. sexual based species have always been male or female, because that's how we arbitrarily decided to classify them. males are generally the ones to fertilize the female, and the females generally produce the offspring. since we're sexual, it's either a male or female.

all that other shit is just how someone tries to be different in a world where everyone is the exact fucking same. why is it considered ok to want to remove your penis and have sex with men, but not ok to want to have sex with a child? both aren't indicative of normative sexual behavior but only one of those is considered ok.

The New Atlantis study, which was co-authored by the Dr. Paul McHugh (the one in your first link) is not a peer reviewed study and it's not really a study either. It's a review and summary of empirical studies. There are omissions of many studies and the authors offer interpretations of few studies that try to nudge the readers towards the idea that transgenderism is not biological and that treatment doesn't work. They hedge their sentences with the word "sometimes" and "it seems" frequently. This "study" is weak and biased.

It's typical of Dr. McHugh who misinterprets studies often to say that transgender people still have elevated suicide risk rates because he compares transgender people who received hormone treatment with PEOPLE WHO AREN'T TRANS AT ALL.

Stats may mean nothing to the individual but that does not mean that you won't find commonalities among groups. Furthermore if there is enough overlap as you say then there wouldn't be female and male brain distinctions which is the whole crux of the tranny argument.
