I'm honestly surprised that there are SJWs actually looking forward to the sequel.

Did they just completely miss the message of the first film? It's one of the most ableist movies there is.

The protagonist just wants the public to recognize outstanding people again because the world has become a giant hugbox where everyone gets medals in order to protect them from feeling insignificant and the villain wants to give out free superpowers to everyone so that nobody can ever stand out above the crowd and thus nobody will get their feelings hurt.

Mate, Mr. Incredible's entire character arc was him learning to stop reliving the glory days and idolising himself and it was the normal life with his family that was most important to him. I'll give you it is a switcheroo from the original superhero format of "I want to be normal but can't" to "I don't want to be normal even though I can be" but it was hardly something that would aggravate SJWs.
