Not bait. I liked the slow build of the revelation of what goes on (wont go into specifics cuz dont want to spoil), its much more comfy.
The jump-scare-fest that is nearly all modern horror films, have made me hate most of the ones made in the last 3ish decades.
I liked The Ring (part 1 with naomi), The Exorcist (original), Evil Dead (2013), and this movie, plus a few others i cant rememebr.
