This is pretty accurate. Lots of parts of the show also have a very smug feeling to them that I think kind of hurts its purpose. It's pretty disappointing considering all of the talk that's been going on in the scientific community about which methods for educating the public actually work, and how approaches like this probably do more harm than good. This show isn't going to educate anyone, and it isn't really going to appeal to the audience it wants to. Unless someone already agrees with the premises of the show (at which point, they won't be learning anything), it's probably just going to piss them off.

That being said, it's still Billy Nye. There are enough hints of the old show that it can still be pretty watchable. He could (and probably should) have done a much better job, though.

The problem is that there's not really a good definition for what a race is. Unlike for example a species which is a group that can produce fertile offspring.
Trying to draw boundaries between races is quite difficult when you can't really define what a race is. Especially considering that everyone is basically multi-racial to some extent.

And for the sexes problem, you're misrepresenting their argument. They acknowledge that sexes exist. That, like species, has a simple scientific definition. This absolutely dishonest, giving that one of the main contributors to Co2 emissions almost has no policy towards reducing their CO2 output, and CO2 output globally doesn't seem to decrease by much.

The problem likely isn't reversible. You probably won't find a machine that runs on renewable power and extracts CO2 from the atmosphere. The point of the climate change effort is damage control. Save what we have left.
