I did a film related elective unit and holy shit was it embarrassing. For some reason every single person thinks they're the ones with the best, most unique ideas in the class. The tutors were even more cringey. They'd speak about their current projects like they were fucking prodigy's or something.

It's the same with drama. For some reason they're of the impression that it will work out for them if they're unique enough, when in reality it either comes down to;
A) Being in the right place at the right time (luck)
B) Connections
Spectating one of the auditions for the final year film project was unfuckingbearable. I don't ever want to see that level of overacting in my life.
