No, they broke up, then Jimmy was dating Kara for like 1 episode, then the show changed to the CW and Jimmy is now pretty much a completely irrelevant side character who sometimes dresses up in a robot suit to help fight crime.

I thought the overarching main story was supposed to be the thing with Cadmus and Lena's mom being the big bad of the season. Then they resolved that way early and now it seems like Mon-El's mom is gonna step in as the last minute replacement villain for the last 2 episodes. Very weird pacing. Did the CW order more episodes than they had originally planned or something?

Maybe having to do the CW crossovers now put them off their game (not that their game was ever that on to begin with).
