I thought it was a good idea, just poorly executed. The "Daughter" looked about 30, and the acting was poor throughout.

It's original, so bonus points for that.

I've seen too many home invasion films in the past, it was nothing news or special

Un-ironically enjoyed all three movies. Wouldn't call any of them kino, but Anarchy gets pretty close. Almost felt like a Carpenter movie.
