The rape storyline really ruined this season of Broadchurch.
Season 1 is a small town crime drama trying to find out who murdered a kid
Season 2 is a courtroom drama where they try to put the guy away
Season 3 is them trying to find a random rapist for 8 hours. 7 hours of "how to deal with rape victims in a PC way" with red herrings about the rapist everywhere, 45 minutes of a random character I don't remember at all gets caught and is evil as shit, 15 minutes of wrapping up the series.
