What are some good "realistic" space films?
ie films that might not be 100% realistic, but are more realistic than your average sci fi.

You're not real
2001: A Space Odyssey (and the sequel I guess but it doesn't hold a candle to the original)
Moon
Apollo 13
Not a film, but the TV show "The Expanse"
Certain scenes in Interstellar have space portrayed well, though as a whole it's pretty fantastical

Honestly Apollo 13 is probably one of the only ones. There's a few other movies that try to be realistic, but deviate for the plot. It's hard to make an entertaining movie around space I suppose.
Apollo 13
The Martian
Interstellar
2001
Gravity
Sunshine (parts of it)
Avatar (the beginning)
Mission to Mars
And like the other anon said The Expanse show. Starts out being pretty realistic (as much as you can expect), but the last season or so it's taken a lot of liberties.

I question stuff like this sometimes too but then you gotta ask how deep does the rabbit hole go, did something put that thought in your mind to think it, does mind even exist?
