Anyone else doesn't care much for regular much for regular martial arts flicks but loves well done wire-fu? Call me a pleb if you want, but I'm a sucker for the ridiculous over the top fights from 90's wuxia before chinks started abusing shitty CGI. It helps too that the plots are usually the right amount of convoluted with an interesting lore behind.
Listing a bunch of my favorites, opinions and recommendations are welcome.

I never cared much for wife-fu but honestly it was probably due to being born in the west. Cultural differences and what not. It all kinda changed when I saw A Chinese Torture Chamber Story, which has a sex scene done completely with wire-fu and it was the craziest and funniest thing I had seen until that point. That made me appreciate the style, desu. Some recommendations

Are these kind of movies like Hero? Like they have people just flying around like crazy? Or is it like Ip Man, where I'm pretty sure the style of kung fu was called wuxia?

Zu Warriors from the Magic Mountain, easy. It's loads of fun. Keep in mind it's from the 80's though, so effects are more dated than the others.

I can take or leave most wuxia, but I love Zu: WftMM and Iron Monkey. Will have to check out the rest. If you like the weirdness of Zu, I highly recommend Mo (The Boxer's Omen).
