It's good. It's just slow paced and relies heavily on bringing you into it's world through it's visuals, so it turns off a lot of people because of that.

I watched it, and enjoyed it, but I think people are extrapolating heavily on it's alleged themes. It hints at various sci fi concepts but never really delves into them enough for my liking.
