I'll never understand this meme. When did it become unanimously agreed that the only way to enjoy a flick is if you MUST believe the main character is in danger at some point?

Why isn't it possible to enjoy a film where you see someone who is at the peak of their craft (an exciting craft -- essentially killing) perfectly executing a plan? Are you really such babies that you have to pretend to yourself that John Wick is real during the fliquéographie in order to achieve any satisfaction?

I suppose some of us are just more evolved human beings who can appreciate the action and the excitement without thinking 'hurr but why he not in danger? this not like real life... me confused... me bored' every two seconds.
