Stuck watching films on a laptop for most of next week
What Cannon films should I take with me on a USB, anyone have any recs?

Not pictured are Planet of the Vampires and Caltiki, the Immortal Monster. Mario Bava uses some solitary neat ideas in each, but they don't feel as fully realized as Black Sunday was for me.
Lucifer Rising was an interesting psychedelic occult experience.
Trainspotting 2 was much better than I was fearing. Very impressionistic.
Escape from New York didn't blow my socks off, but it was alright.

I don't believe you ;_;
Hi, I'm smoothhands. How are you? I am fine myself.

The Congress was good, definitely a departure from Waltz with Bashir. Lots of people complained of a messy structure, but I didn't mind it. Jon Hamm was well-cast as usual.
Logan is probably now my favourite capeshit film, felt a lot more visceral than most, and didn't have as much snarky quipping as usual Marvel flicks do. Reminded me a bit of Children of Men to be honest famiglia.
After watching Diva with my father, we wanted to get a bit more into cinema du look, and I'd always heard great things about this film. Watching it now, even in English, it feels very French, from the soundtrack to the themes (especially sexuality) to the characters. Was a bit fun and ridiculous, I could see why people could list it as a favourite from the performances, but I just wasn't emotionally affected by it.
Picnic at Hanging Rock I actually watched a while ago in a film studies course. The first half of the film is absolutely gorgeous, reminds me a lot of impressionism from the likes of Monet and Degas. That alone made it a 4-stars, would have been 4.5 if it lasted through the whole film.
>>> I like binging Netflix in a corner on my laptop while I work
>> Are there really shows that aren't good enough to warrant your undivided attention, yet good enough to watch in the first place?
Werner Herzog documentaries for me.

Oh, and someone asked for a Top 100 awhile ago, so I threw this together. Very rough and embryonic, but I hope it gives some insight on my taste.

Criminals please go.
I've seen The Terrorizers yesterday, another stunning film by E. Young. I'm amazed by his storytelling and sterile shots. He even turns ugly things to beautiful with his camera, and atmosphere of 80s/90s Taiwan ust mesmerizing, I fell in love with the guy, again.
Anyone in here who is in possession of a torrent of picrel? I can't find it anywhere sad_face.jpg

great list, i haven't seen 33 out of the 100
why burn after reading?
>>81700832
Thanks. Seeing as it's my top 100, I'd recommend all 33 of those films you haven't seen.
I know it's considered to be one of their lesser movies, but I laughed more at Burn After Reading than any Coen brothers film. It seems to nail the absurdity of morons trying to make grand plans in a chaotic universe, and that's hysterical to me.
>>81700832
BAN's fucking hilarious.
