I just finished Seinfeld and I don't get this last episode.
The law was "you have to help other people if it's reasonable to do so."
Why didn't someone just say "He had a gun, it wasn't reasonable for us to endanger our lives."
Seems like they could have gotten out of it pretty easily.
>>81641987
Because they filmed it
>>81642054
So?
It's not like them filming it somehow changes that the robber had a gun.
>>81642081
It's pretty obvious the dude is pretending to have a gun
>>81642146
The court can't prove he didn't have a gun.
So them claiming that they didn't want to risk their lives for a stranger would making it reasonable not to help.
Just seems like they should have thought out the final episode better.
>>81642202
It's the finale, meaning it's done after that. I doubt they gave a fuck at that point considering the money they were making.
>>81642286
I guess. But still, artistic integrity is a thing.
You'd think they'd want to go out on a high note.
Hell, they even made an episode about that.
>>81641987
They were being trialed for being sociopathic assholes. The Good Samaritan thing isn't the main sin here.
Sort of like The Stranger. Mersault is a murderer, but that isn't the main point of his trial and execution.
>>81642516
But being a sociopathic asshole isn't against the law.
>>81642202
>Just seems like they should have thought out the final episode better.
>they
larry came back to write the final
>>81642573
It's a metaphor, dummy. They were condemned by society for being heartless. Like I said it's comparable to The Stranger.
>>81642573
The video they made they were audibly making fun of the situation making them look like assholes. This blew up even more when they got everyone they screwed over throughout the course of the show so it was pretty much a trial on their morality. Shit doesn't have to make sense. I didn't like the episode much anyway but the very end was great since it was the first bit.
BAD CHICKEN! MESS YOU UP!
>>81642613
A metaphor for what? I'm confused.
So you're saying they broke no law but got convicted anyway?
>>81642646
laughed hard
final episode is kino if you edit out the flashbacks
>>81642670
You have a double digit IQ.
>>81642614
>Shit doesn't have to make sense
I suppose, but still. It's dumb they got put in jail when they didn't actually break a law.
>>81642691
Sorry but what you're saying makes no sense.
It's not me.
THEY CALL ME THE ASSMAN
>>81642202
That's their decision.
Whatever autist reason you come up with will never change that.
WORLDS ARE COLLIDING JERRY
>>81643905
You do realize just adding the word "autist" and variations there of to your posts doesn't mean you "win", right?
And either way, the point is that the underlying plot of the episode doesn't follow.
>>81643939
ok, go on
argue whatever you want with history
>>81643994
The fuck are you talking about?
Stating something was wrong does not mean you are trying to change history.
>>81644090
you just finished 10 years of Seinfeld and still don't know them?
>Why didn't someone just say "He had a gun, it wasn't reasonable for us to endanger our lives."
BECOSE THEY WERE SELFISH ASSHOLES THEY PREFERRED MAKING FUN OF THE FAT GUY
I'm glad you will probably die alone and found for the smell.
>>81644204
You have fucking downs, you didn't even read this thread.
>>81644300
yes, I've Reddit, and I wish I didn't.
>>81644341
This is really that hard to understand. Here, let me walk you through the steps.
-The good Samaritan law says they have to help when it is reasonable.
-The guy had a gun so it was not reasonable for them to help.
-Them taping the event and making fun of him does not mean it reasonable for them to help.
-The good Samaritan law was not broken.
Really, you should talk to a doctor.
>>81644474
You are literally George
>>81644507
But George is stupid and you're the one who can't understand anything.
>>81644507
Haha exactly. Let's go home and let this guy complain to an empty thread.
Normalizing the complete lack of empathy was the goal here
These clever, trendy semites just assume that the entire world exists to make them laugh
I want to be just like them, and argue about the consequences of acting like vermin!
>>81644578
Why are you talking to yourself?
