When does this get funny?
Few episodes in and I haven't laughed once. Post season 10 Family Guy tier humor.
Rick and Morty is way funnier than this shit.

funny? I was memed into watching it because i thoght it was a comedy, too, but I stayed because it was just sad and kind of relatable. Like a drama, maybe

Rick and Morty is funnier, but Bojack is great for the drama aspect. Real easy to binge.

Had some funny moments but its basically depression: the show
It doesn't.
It does get good, though. You'll be hooked after a few more episodes.
After the muffin bit.
>watches pure depression kino
>"why isn't it funny guys"

How to properly enjoy BoJack Horseman:
1. Develop depression over the course of several years (months is not enough)
2. Open Netflix
3. Watch

This. I found it a bit cringe at first and only started watching it because was with friends and couldn't decide what to watch on Netflix. Then after a few episodes I was interested enough to watch it by myself, then couldn't stop. I'm always impressed when a show can draw me in like that.

BUT ITS A HORSE MAN HOW FUNNY IS THAT HAHA!!?

>depression
It's literally mid-20s "existentialism." A show for hip 20 year olds to pat themselves on the back for feeling bad.

But I suffer from depression already so I enjoy light-hearted shows.
We are the aimless generation, raised on consumption. Turns out, consuming things all day every day and working a shit 9-5 job so you can continue consuming is not a very satisfying existence. We try to have moments where we go out and "party", drink with people until we pass out, maybe have sex. That sex is meaningless too because it is just a faux copy of the porn we watch, no emotions.
Laughing feels better.

You might have a shit life but I get payed to climb trees and play with chainsaws

The worst part is my life actually isn't shit, I live very comfortably. It's my crippling depression that doesn't let me enjoy it.
all the self important twats who flaunt their 'depression' like a fashion accessory and undoubtedly make twitter posts about their general dissatisfaction with life come out to praise bojack horseman
>>81570889
its not a comedy, nor a drama
its a show about an egotistic self-centered washed-up TV star and the people around him
>>81570889
First four episodes are shit, then it turns into depression kino.
