When I get groceries, some thing go in the fridge, some in cabinets, some in the pantry, some in the laundry room, some in the garage fridge, some in the master suite. Unless you have some little galley kitchen in a studio apartment, or very carefully bag your own groceries, you are wasting time, motion, and energy but not unpacking and sorting first.
