I've been coming to these generals for years and think when they're at their best they are the most fun and interesting place to discuss Doctor Who on the web, and one of the few places to discuss Big Finish without the super obsessed brand-loyal folk.

Things always get worse on-season, and off-season is always better (the only trips that stick around are the more tolerable ones, there's more discussion of the books and audios, the memes are less forced), but I have never seen it get this bad so quickly and so potently. Series 10 hasn't even started yet and already the general has turned fucking abominable.

I wish the new trips would leave or just turn their trips off. I wish twitter drama would stop getting spammed - it can be funny, the GB raid was great, but forcing and spamming it is painful.
