Hateful Eight is a mystery film with no mystery as Samuel L Jackson pretty much figures it out relatively easy and then the movie shows us everything that happens five minutes later. Also the white bounty hunter son of the confederate general sucking the nigger's dick was just Quentin trying once again to signal how cool of a white person he is with the niggers

However, just like every Tarantino film there are several performances that are incredible, such as Jennifer Jason Leigh and Michael Madsen. Fuck, even Channing Tatum was good in this which was something I didn't expect. I don't know Tarantino just has a way of bringing out the best in actors or at least good at picking the best.

It's his worst due to editing, some music placement, and the length. It should be 4 hours long. The stuff that was cut is major to the characters.

I think it's his most emotional movie. I can't help but tear up in a few scenes because it was done so well. And sometimes Django's voice is too timid and soft to the point I don't know how characters are supposed to hear him.

Which is why Tarantino debates are so mixed. Everyone takes something different from each film. No one truly has a favorite film IMO but some people can really dislike some of his stuff.

Personally I enjoy every film about the same, and can't rate them ever. Kill Bill is probably my favorite due to how long it is and how he was able to do almost everything he wanted with the story.
