VR AUDREY NOW
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f06ng5cII8o
also de-aging is becoming the norm too
Hopefully not. Let the dead rest, don't insult them for shekels.
>>81375190
no fuck that, it looks terrible
>>81375303
this.
>being so creatively bankrupt you have to cgi dead actors now so you can reuse everything for extra shekels
>>81375190
>>81375190
What the fuck? Is this even legal?
>>81375190
How long can I have sex with this in VR?
>>81375263
Sometimes that's as creepy as aging them.
>>81376572
They did a really good job aging James Macavoy in Logan.
Sometimes it looks wrong no matter what you do. They actually mo-capped the real actors and still the characters looked odd and plasticky. I don't know if we should even blame the uncanny-valley as these were actual captures, there should be no excuse apart from lazy animators.
>>81376788
Anyone have a link to this abomination?
>>81377303
That was an animated movie in 2007
Given Cushing's career, I think he would've been amused by his recreation in Rogue One.
I find this shit so disrespectful
>>81377433
I agree
>Now not even the dead will know peace from ((them))).
Disgraceful.
Imagine the kind of garbage they would put them on just for shekels.
>model renders will become so common you will be able to download them and import them to your games
>vr porn
Don't kill yourself anon, just hang in there for another decade
>>81376171
probably paid the Hepburn estate a bag of money for likeness rights. Otherwise the advert would of been pulled within a month rather that still appear occasionally years later.
>>81375190
I think so. I hope they all start complaining about that rather than politics.
>>81375190
Disgraceful, the fact those good old days of whites can only be seen in fucking advertisements only make it worse.
>>81375190
what
this shit is CG?
sorry, what? no fucking way
>>81375190
I think this ad was played during the superbowl. I didn't even notice it was CGI.
>>81379297
>Importinglolimodels.
>>81375190
Did they actually pull footage of her color movies or did they actually design her figure entirely on computer?
Wow that's impressive. Audrey Hepbun is/was hot i thunk though this sounds a lutle unnecessary, possibly just promotion of the ttechnique rather than anything else
>>81379784

>>81375190
Yes
Even after you're dead, they'll keep you working forever
>>81375190
They replaced most of the stand in actress face with CGI, except for the eyes which are real. So while the results are phenomenal, it's not an entirely CGI face.
>>81379955
>14 year old Natalie Portman
>13 year old Brooke Shields
>16 year old Jennifer Garner
>40 year old Christie Brinkley
And thanks to advancements in teledildonics, somewhere out there in internet land is a 29 year old landwhale feeling your thrusts delivered by prime Marlon Brando and James Dean simultaneously.
>>81375190
I only care about this robot delivered to my door.
regular idiots can already make passably good porn with that source filmmaker
>>81375230
I TAKE BACK EVERYTHING I SAID ABOUT CG CELEBRITIES BEING BAD
I want to ____ that cgi person!
>>81375190
This is like 10 years ago why havent updated to james camerons cgi yet?
I seriously dont get the fucking industry
White woman gets a free ride, steals things and eats a chocolate the product of colonialism.
>>81375190
watch The Congress
>>81379891
They designed her face and applied it to lookalike standing models. >>81376099
When this industry merges with VR, the porn with be phenomenal.
VR sex with Audrey when
I hope so. Think of the pornographic implications.
>>81375190
stupid vulcan looking bitch
>>81382431
Wouldn't it be just cheaper to find the closest real-life lookalike instead of having animators apply CGI to an actor they're already paying to model for their commercial?
>>81375452
Prequels and reboots just weren't enough for Hollywood. They gotta squeeze every last bit of that nostalgia fruit dry.
>>81380096
>>81375452
>no fuck that, it looks terrible
Actually, it looked great. You are just a contrarian.
>>81376099

i just finished fapping in VR to Lara Croft riding me cowgirl style. This is something I couldn't have dreamt of when I was 10 years old looking for primitive Nude Raider mods
>>81375190
In 8-10 years tops, we will have conquered the uncanny valley.
This is a wet dream for the movie companies, imagine actors who have no salary, will do ANY scene, always available.
>>81386377
>uncanny valley.
People talk about Tarkin being in the valley. I seriously had no idea he was cg. I just thought they found a good double. Leia, not so much.
>>81385273
holy shit the one on the right is perfect
Audrey Hepburn is the most beautiful woman I've ever seen.
>>81386966
yes, except of course for
>blue eyes
>genetic abnormality, medically defined as an illness
have her wear some contacts and she'll be acceptable. I wouldn't risk having kids with her though.

>Given Cushing's career, I think he would've been amused by his recreation in Rogue One.
Cushings always wanted to be in another Star Wars.
>>81375263
:3
>>81375190
Listen up autist. No one is going to make complete CG actors anytime soon unless the movie has an infinite budget. Shit is so much more time consuming and more expensive than just hiring somebody. You idiots think CG actors is like pressing a button and hey presto, a complete CG character acting for the duration of a movie. In case you didn't notice CG actors are used extremely sparingly only appearing for a few seconds. Never for entire scenes.
>>81387751
final fantasy had something like that and that shit came out before i was born
>>81375190
She died?
>>81387751
Not the OP, but you are a dumbass. With the advancements in CS, this kind of thing will be come trivial. They could get some fat fuck to walk around and skin them with anyone they wish...even you grandma if they wish...on the fly in real-time. Grow up you stupid fuck.
>>81382794
Yes but they're jewish so it matters little to them. They just want the $$$.
>>81379297
You'll be dead before this happens anon.
I'm still waiting for my flying car they projected would be around by now.
>>81386441
>I seriously had no idea he was cg.
50% of people say they had no idea, the other 50% say they did.
All I can take away from Tarkins scene was that it was a complete and utter failure and they should stop doing it. But i'm not a dirty kike blooded cunt so I have no say in the matter.
>>81388437
>They could get some fat fuck to walk around and skin them with anyone they wish...even you grandma if they wish...on the fly in real-time
Wrong. They need to pay for the likeness, and I'd charge amounts that would bankrupt them. Checkmate you edgy newfish.
>>81388316
and why do you think people prefer live action movies and where are all the full CGI movies today? pro tip: a full CGI costs way too much and people prefer real life actors.
>>81388437
lol are you fucking kidding me. You think it's going to cost nothing for an actor to walk around? movies today cost a shit load more than they ever have. You're the real dumb ass that doesn't understand how the world actually works topkek
>>81375190
better than star wars
>>81376380
Asking the real questions here.
>just be beautiful, then its okay to be a dick.
why cant i be so attractive i can get away with anything
>>81380096
>not including prime jennifer connelley
the fuck is wrong with you?
>>81375190
holy shit let me die and live in the VR world already.
Doesn't look like her.
>>81375303
Let the dead rest? Fuck that.
>2017
>not becoming a cyber-lich after your death
>>81375190
I hope not, CG Tarkin looked like shit.
>>81375190
Why would you CGI her when Lily Collins looks just like her with the right haircut? It's cheaper and more respectful to Hepburn's memory.
CGI-ing dead people just seems wrong. It's like you're taking their corpse and putting it on puppet strings.
>>81389323
Let's be honest here, if people can't drive properly with ground cars, flying cars would just cause the population to drop to nothing in a couple of years. That shit doesn't work unless they're self-driving.
>>81391683
You can't but if you make enough money it doesn't matter.
>>81375190
This looks way better than leia in rogue one desu.
Obviously. We're still 20 or 30 years away from it but don't you fucking think studios wish they can just MAKE an actor or buy a famous actors likeness for all their movies.
If you can just make your actors at a reasonable budget, then cut down on all sorts of costs.
>>81388316
Fuck off underage
>>81389323
how far off could it be? how many hurdles are there? VR porn is already a thing but with real porn stars. animated porn is pretty impressive, just look at Overwatch stuff. the only thing left is getting higher quality CG models and programming them to be interactive, the latter not even being a huge issue. 10-ish years before the uncanny valley is finally overcome. once its possible to reliably make photorealistic CG people, the last hurdle will be actually getting the renders of people you want. ive no idea how it works, but can you get 3d renders of people from lots of regular videos? if you had enough frames of an actress from enough angles, say from a movie, could you make a render from that?
>>81392171
see, i dont think this would work because the whole reason studios hire actors is because of their star power, their ability to draw in people with nothing but their name. this star power just cant exist with a fake CGI person. they cant go on social media, they cant go do Q and A's at comic cons, they cant go on talk shows or do interviews where people learn to like them, they have no social presence and thats where the star power comes from.
>>81392282
the biggest cash cow is nostalgia
imagine:
>new prime arnold swartzenegger action movies
>new audrey hepburn romcoms
>new bruce lee kung fu
>new indiana jones but with young harrison ford
it goes on
>>81392282
>this star power just cant exist with a fake CGI person
What about Gorillaz, or those cartoon bands in Japan that get huge crowds?
>>81392334
You quickly hit the point where that stops working, though. Nobody in my generation knows who hepburn is.
>>81392334
im not convinced it could work as anything other than a novelty one off,
>oh cool a young arnie in an action movie, lets see it
>oh, the 5th CGI arnie action film, eh
plus, arnie, and indiana might work, but im not sure about bruce and really not sure about audrey, i dont think you can get modern audiences to care about celebrities that were in their prime 60 years ago or whatever or died decades ago.
Wow.
Not gonna lie, I wouldn't have known that was CGI if you didn't tell me.
They're getting too good.
>>81392665
That advert's 4 years old already; it's insane compared to the shitty CGI Carry they had in Rogue One. I think the key was they kept the original actress' eyes and CGI'ed everything else over it.
Jesus that movement looks so goddamn alien
CGI is also allowing real celebs to endorse fake shit.
