>see blatantly obvious CGI in movie
>instantly get mad
Why can't directors make movies like they used to back in the day?

Does eggy have a tight boipucci

I believe he does
It's called lazy filmmaking. Also it saves money to do good-enough CGI and not get too obsessed with realism or art or whatever.

>not get too obsessed with realism
If I wanted to watch a cartoon I would watch a fucking cartoon. There is no place for CGI in movies.

>lost art
>costs a shit ton of time and therefore money
>will end up getting done over in post because it was too good(see AVPR and The Thing(2011))
>watching aguirre the wrath of god
>actual people going down an actual mountain at the beginning
>if it was made now would look like reboot cartoon cgi shit
real things look real and fake things look like fake.
Easy example is how Jurassic Park looks better than anything in Jurassic World. The practical dinosaurs beat CGI shit EVERY time.
there is literally no difference between modern american "blockbusters" (aka 4 quadrant mainstream pap) and anime. both are animated and made for braindead troglodytes.
