you're supposed to believe this is a found footage film, where the filmmaker edits in "spooky music" to footage of their friends being eaten by zombies...

Maybe it's because I came in late but the characters just weren't interesting at all. The kills tended to be pretty fun (special props to Tumblr Hair dying by getting SNAPPED IN HALF).

It's a damn shame because The Guest is probably one of my favorite movies and stands as a shining example of what 80's revivalism could have been.

I hope Wingard redeems himself with Death Note but I have a feeling it's gonna get fucking ravaged thanks to "muh whitewashing"

This is actually one of my guilty pleasures. I've re-watched Diary of the Dead (and other zombie films) every lead up to Halloween, for the past several years.

'Diary' for some reason is one of those movies that is so bad, that they're actually kinda good. Maybe it has to do with my liking the social commentary in the film. You know, how millennials and younger gens are too hung up on social media and their personal vanity. It's a message that's truer today than it was back in '07.

If you're one of those people who can't shut off their brains during a mobiee, then try having a few drinks -- or weed. I do my movie binging with a bottle of whisky or rum nearby. If it's a shit movie then, I start downing them. I freakin' love October and Holiday season in general.

Scott Pilgrim is fucking awesome. And to be honest, the humor is pretty similar to Wrights other movies so I'm not sure how you could like Shaun and not this one. Now Worlds End on the other hand, is truly his worst movie.
