The Delgado, Missy-Simm, ''muh best friend'' dynamic is too complicated for children. If I were to rewrite it, i'd base their early relationship off Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy, Harry/the Doctor as a heroic boy, and Draco as a snobby/evil boy.

She's much more friendly towards the doctor. In DW/DIH her motive was to show the doctor that the two were alike. In TMA/TWF she was just a side character, practically a second companion. At no point has missy made any attempt to kill the doctor or even show any real ill will besides "ew you're too goody goody" which hardly counts
