Being a child is laughing at Kramer.
Being an adult is realizing George is the funniest character on Seinfeld.
George and Elaine when she's not annoying.
george is kino
Nope, being an adult is realizing the show is shit. They're not just bad people, they're actively annoying. A good show about shitty people is Archer.

i always found jerry the least funny, not to say that he wasn't funny at all. he was more of a speculative character.

This, someone has to play the straight man role and Jerry was funnier than most.

I don't get why people say they were bad. They never did anything that awful unless you're some whiny faggot. The humor comes from them acknowledging their selfishness and flaws, people just say they are bad because they didn't cover them up.
Jerry is the patrician choice. He's got a good heart which makes his darker moments legitimately disgusting and hilarious.
It's like watching Father Ted and loving each character in turn until you realise that Ted is hands down the funniest person on the show, but for some reason no one ever defaults to the main character.

Being an adult is realizing that George is a fill in for the everyman. We are all George; fat, old before our time, luckless with women and our careers, losers whos friends outshine them in every way.
