It's too ridiculous, it's all over the place with the bullshit twists. It goes normie Arnie - special agent Arnie - ex-special agent Arnie working with the rebels - undercover special agent Arnie actually infiltrating the rebels - and finally ex-undercover special agent Arnie now taking sides with the rebels. It detracts from itself.

The remake conveyes the idea in that youtube scene better than the original did, and it has an open-ended ambiguous ending that leaves you guessing whether it was real or not.
