Lucy made anything by Snyder look like kino, the symbolism is disgustingly hamfisted (pic related, Besson's feminist take on Michelangelo's God touching Adam), the action scenes either too chaotic or unnecessary, and the story- what story is there? She's honestly a plain art student type girl next door with a cool personality. It shows. The roles that cast her as such she really does well with....

BUT she was never really meant for eye candy action hero type roles. Her personality isn't right for it and honestly, her body is not either.

I haven't liked her in any action hero roles that I've ever seen her in, however I loved when she was just doing the art-girl type thing in Lost in Translation or Ghost World. Those movies worked for her.

You can always tell when an actor is playing a role that's so unlike them that they can't understand proper motivation and delivery for that role. It's too far out of their own personal experience. Thus is ScarJo the action star.
