It's a solid 9/10 show. Very comfy. Cuddle up with your gf to watch it and she'll love you forever. It's pretty comfy. Small town New England setting, chill soundtrack, almost entirely white cast.

The dialogue gets annoying after a while though, way too fast-paced and quippy. It doesn't feel believable and in a lot of places it's almost incomprehensible word vomit.

Rory in the revival was very realistic. She is a spoilt, entitled shit in the show and she is no different in the revival. The whole point is that she behaves just like a rich kid because she may as well be one, despite all the time they spend wallowing in their poverty. They are constantly buying and wasting expensive junk food, they have people who cook meals for them (Luke and Sooki) just like Emily and Richard do, Luke comes and fixes their house just like Emily has men come fix hers, the whole town worships them like fucking royalty and Rory has everything paid for by someone else. It's only natural that she would go into the real world expecting everything to be handed to her on a silver platter, and she has a mental breakdown because she realises it isnt really like that. To top it off she acts like an immature little slut by running to her ex boyfriend and sleeping with him constantly even though he's married (much like she lost her virginity to a married man, and broken up a marriage in the process).
Rory was always an arrogant, pretentious, entitled tart. She's just a likable one. Yes, she's talented and studies hard, but she has never had any kind of struggle, and she crumbles in the face of any kind of challenge.
