As to Eric Andres premiere compared to MDE. Eric Andres first episode probably didn't have half the budget MDE had, and it was at a worse timeslot as well.

China, IL got cancelled and was far more well received, had better ratings, and overall better quality than MDE did.

World Peace was pretty good, I must say I thoroughly enjoyed following it because unlike most shit on tv, it actually felt like it came from something you're a part of, true niche shit.

And I don't say that cause I identify as alt-right or browse /pol/, it's just there's a certain circle of people on the internet, loosely connected, it's kind of bizzare I think it took a really long time for me to realize it, but watching the HWNDU streams made it clear, and while I'm a leftie cuck that doesn't participate in any politically related shit, these circles are interconnected, weirdly enough we share a lot of interests.

I think if it hadn't gotten cancelled it would have only gotten better and better, season 1 is pretty rough in spots, it's not the most consistent sketch show of all time but it had a ton of potential and a lot of it was really fucking good and funny.

Sam never even got to comment on gaming, I think this is an area he has a more nuanced understanding of than anybody else, the hobby not necessarily the games, same goes for this pseudo fag shit, although maybe he wouldn't wanna touch that since that's "his" side, but imagine skits making fun of trap chasers, anime, music, etc.

Damn fucking shame it got canned. Watching him systematically tear down the 4chan identity out of a fucked up love he has for the troubled people that get stuck in these circles would have been so good to see, I think Sam does this a lot, he tries to inspire people, albeit in a weird and pessimistic way.

Sam probably starts out as a captivating personality but can't help polarizing people. He's got anger issues and likes to tell big fish stories. its just an interesting little sketch about the realities of life and the human experience that seems to have struck a chord with a lot of people. it doesn't have anything to do with liberals, or the right wing, in fact it almost doesn't have anything to do with comedy. there's a few lines that make people chuckle but i don't think that's why that sketch in particular was so well received
