Here's a good thread for /tv/. Post a movie made in the last 10 years that you believe is a literal masterpiece and why.
No Batman V Superman.
Drive Angry

No film deserving of the title "Masterpiece" has been made in the last 10 years.
I've liked a lot of whats come out in the last decade, I'm just sayin'
Dawn of Justice

Holy Motors

Batman v Superman
Best CBM since Watchmen. Actually digs into the public reaction of godlike people walking among them.

Dawn of Justice: The Ultimate Cut

Mekong Hotel/Uncle boonmee/Cemetery of splendor: perfect mix between reality and fiction, the long take works amazingly in each of these films as they provide a cultural and ideological landscape to the viewer, themes feel universal, despite the films being about thailand and its culture.
No need to say but spiritual and political elements are perfectly displayed.
Stray Dogs: the long take and dry paint feel of the film makes this tsai's most important work to date (imo)
here the surrealism is so subtle so everything feels real but dreamy (once again reality and fiction are mixing, revealing the power of the camera as a way of perception).
Goltzius and the pelican company: Greenaway is always a challenge, or at least he should be, this film in particular I feel needs multiple viewings.
A sexually embed film with all the odes that one of his films will have, its a very dense picture he's trying to paint, absolute idealism, documentary with theatrical staging and renaissance.
To the wonder: honestly i can't even think of something to say so i'll just say that I've never had so many dreams about a film in my life.
Man of Steel (2013), directed by Zack Snyder
The Witch
I think I liked this one more than Prisoners. It's like if David Lynch actually put effort in story telling. And characters. And dialogue. And symbolism.
Best Scifi movie since Alien.
The Dark Knight Rises
